E001
Overcurrent Error

Cause: A large current flowed in the inverter.

1. Steep load change or motor hunting during operation.

2. Insufficient acceleration/deceleration time or large load inertia.

3. Short circuit or ground fault in output lines.

4. Motor is locked.



Remedy:

  • Check for steep load changes; adjust response control [HA115].

  • Adjust IM motor capacity [Hb102] or poles [Hb103].

  • Increase acceleration [FA-10] or deceleration [FA-12] time.

  • Check for short circuits or ground faults in the output wiring or motor.

  • Check if the motor is mechanically locked.

  • Clean cooling fans or ducts if occurred after long use.


E005
Motor Overload Error

Cause: Internal electronic thermal function detected motor overload.

1. Heavy load condition continued.

2. Thermal level set too high.

3. Insufficient acceleration/deceleration torque.



Remedy:

  • Re-examine operation conditions and load.

  • Check motor thermal level setting [bC110].

  • Increase acceleration time [FA-10] or deceleration time [FA-12].

  • Adjust manual torque boost or control method [AA121].

  • Clean fans and ducts to reduce temperature.


E006
Braking Resistor Overload Error

Cause: Usage rate of braking resistor (BRD) exceeded the set limit [bA-60].

1. Insufficient deceleration time.

2. Large load inertia or continuous regenerative operation.



Remedy:

  • Set longer deceleration time in [FA-12].

  • Re-examine the choice of resistor capacity.

  • Check if external forces (like wind on a fan or crane lowering) are rotating the motor.

  • Reduce the repetition cycle of operation.


E007
Overvoltage Error

Cause: P-N voltage exceeded approx 410 Vdc (200V class) or 820 Vdc (400V class).

1. Insufficient deceleration time.

2. Load inertia is too large causing regeneration.

3. Motor rotated by external force (fan, crane).

4. Power supply voltage abnormality.



Remedy:

  • Set longer deceleration time in [FA-12].

  • Use a braking resistor, braking unit, or regenerative converter.

  • Check power supply voltage for fluctuations.

  • If using drooping control with 2 motors, check for mutual interference (See P/PI switching).


E008
Memory Error

Cause: Built-in memory problem or CPU error.

1. Noise interference.

2. Power turned off during memory access.



Remedy:

  • Turn power OFF and ON again.

  • Install noise countermeasures (shielding plates).

  • Perform Inverter Initialization (See 6-1-2).

  • If data cannot be restored, repair is required.


E009
Undervoltage Error

Cause: Main power supply voltage decreased (below ~160Vdc for 200V class or ~320Vdc for 400V class).

1. Power failure or unstable power supply.

2. Insufficient power supply capacity.

3. Internal circuit failure or capacitor deterioration.



Remedy:

  • Check power supply environment and voltage.

  • If internal PS hasn’t fully turned off, use retry function.

  • If frequent without power issues, the inverter may need repair.


E010
Current Detector Error

Cause: Problem with the built-in current detector.

1. Current detector circuit broken.

2. Noise source nearby.



Remedy:

  • Reset the inverter. If error recurs, repair is required.

  • Take noise countermeasures (shielding).


E011
CPU Error

Cause: Malfunction in built-in CPU.

1. CPU broken.

2. Noise interference.

3. Data inconsistency during writing.



Remedy:

  • Perform a reset or power cycle.

  • Perform initialization if recovered.

  • If not recoverable, replace/repair the unit.


E012
External Trip Error

Cause: Signal from external device triggered trip.

1. Wiring wrong or terminal logic reversed.

2. External equipment commanded a trip.



Remedy:

  • Check external equipment status.

  • Check assignment of external trip terminal.

  • Verify NO/NC (a/b contact) settings.


E013
USP Error

Cause: Operation command entered when power was turned ON (when USP function enabled).



Remedy:

  • Release operation command before turning power ON.

  • Wait 2 seconds after power ON to enter command.

Ground Fault Error

Cause: Ground fault detected between inverter output and motor at power-on.

1. Ground fault in wires or motor.

2. Motor insulation deterioration.



Remedy:

  • Turn OFF power immediately.

  • Disconnect motor wires and check motor/wiring insulation.

  • Note: Do not turn power ON while checking.

Incoming Overvoltage Error

Cause: High incoming voltage held for 100 seconds while output stopped.



Remedy:

  • Check power supply environment for high voltage or instability.


E016
Instantaneous Power Failure Error

Cause: Instantaneous power failure or voltage decrease in R, S, T.

1. Power supply voltage decreased.

2. Contact fault in breaker/contactor.



Remedy:

  • Check input power supply and breakers.

  • Use retry function if caused by external power failure.

Temperature Detector Error

Cause: Temperature detector circuit disconnection or failure.



Remedy:

  • Repair is required.


E020
Cooling Fan Speed Reduction Error

Cause: Fan rotation speed decreased causing high temperature.

1. Foreign object in fan.

2. Fan reached end of life.



Remedy:

  • Remove foreign objects.

  • Replace the cooling fan.

Temperature Error

Cause: Internal temperature is too high.

1. High carrier frequency.

2. Clogged heatsink fins.

3. High ambient temperature.



Remedy:

  • Lower carrier frequency.

  • Clean the heatsink fins.

  • Improve ambient cooling/ventilation.

  • Check installation clearances.

Input Open-phase Error

Cause: Phase loss detected in input line (when [bb-65]=01).

1. Loose connection or disconnection in input.

2. Single-phase input used erroneously.



Remedy:

  • Check input wiring and breaker terminals.

  • Ensure three-phase connection is used.

  • Tighten loose screws.

IGBT Error

Cause: Instantaneous overcurrent or main element failure.

1. Short circuit or ground fault.

2. Output element failure.

3. Motor rotation locked.



Remedy:

  • Disconnect motor and check for short/ground faults.

  • If element is broken, repair is required.

  • Remove cause of motor locking.

Output Open-phase Error

Cause: Phase loss detected in output line (when [bb-66]=01).

1. Loose connection or wire break to motor.

2. Internal motor disconnection.



Remedy:

  • Check output wiring and motor condition.

  • Tighten terminals.

  • Check for motor insulation breakdown.

Thermistor Error

Cause: Abnormal temperature detected via external thermistor.

1. Motor overheating.

2. Improper thermistor setting or wiring.



Remedy:

  • Improve motor cooling environment.

  • Reduce load.

  • Check thermistor wiring and noise separation.

Brake Error

Cause: Brake check signal problem during brake release waiting time.

1. Signal line disconnected.

2. Brake function setting incorrect.



Remedy:

  • Check wiring of brake check signal.

  • Re-examine brake waiting time and terminal logic.

Cause: Output at low frequency (0.2 Hz or below) overload.



Remedy:

1. Heavy load.

2. High load inertia.



Remedy:

Cause: Timeout in communication with LCD Operator.

1. Loose connection.

2. Noise interference.



Remedy:

  • Check keypad wiring/connection.

RS485 Communication Error

Cause: Timeout in RS485 (Modbus-RTU) communication.



Remedy:

  • Check RS485 wiring.

  • Check for noise affecting communication lines.

Cause: Real Time Clock battery low or data reset.



Remedy:

  • Replace the battery in the keypad.

  • Reset the date/time.

Cause: Invalid instruction in EzSQ program or noise corruption.

  • Rewrite the EzSQ program.

  • Check for noise sources.

Cause: Subroutine nesting exceeds 8 times.



Remedy:

  • Simplify program structure to reduce nesting.

  • Debug program structure (loops, calculations).

PG Option Unit Connection Error

Cause: PG option unit removed or connection lost.



Remedy:

  • Check fixing screws of PG option.

  • Check connector seating and dust.

PID Abnormal Start Error

Cause: PID feedback did not reach target level during soft-start.

1. Target value too low.

2. Wires disconnected.



Remedy:

  • Adjust PID soft-start target level [AH-76].

  • Check wiring and PID feedback monitor.


Alarm: LIM
Limiting Operation

Cause: Output is being limited by Overload, Torque, Overcurrent, or Overvoltage suppression.

LIM Code 01: Overcurrent suppression / DC braking.

LIM Code 02: Overload limit / Acceleration time too short.

LIM Code 03: Overvoltage suppression / Deceleration time too short.



Remedy:

  • Reduce load or clean channels.

  • Increase acceleration/deceleration times.

  • Check for external forces rotating motor.


Alarm: ALT
Advance Notice

Cause: Pre-warning level reached.

ALT Code 01: Overload pre-warning.

ALT Code 02: Motor thermal warning.

ALT Code 03: Inverter thermal warning.



Remedy:

  • Remove factor for increased load.

  • Clean cooling channels.

  • Re-examine thermal settings.


Alarm: RETRY
Retry Standby

Cause: Inverter is waiting to retry after a trip or power-off.



Remedy:

  • Wait for retry or adjust wait times [bb-26].


Alarm: NRDY
Not Ready

Cause: Inverter cannot operate.

Codes: Trip exists (01), Main power missing (02), Reset active (03), STO active (04), Internal check (05), Setting inconsistency (06).



Remedy:

  • Clear existing trips.

  • Check main power R-S-T.

  • Check Reset or STO terminal status.

  • Check for parameter inconsistencies.
